"Batch Processing Was Disappointing"
I tried using it to batch convert an entire folder, but unfortunately it kept freezing about halfway through. A few of the converted files didn’t come out correctly either, which made the whole process kind of frustrating. I reached out to support, but the replies were quite slow, so in the end I just gave up and uninstalled it

"Activation was easy overall"
So, I got my Cisdem license email and, yeah, the activation basically worked fine. It did take me a couple of tries, though, because I apparently copied an extra space without noticing, which was a little annoying at first. I checked the support page and it was, like, helpful enough to get me through it. Not totally perfect, but it was okay in the end, and the app opened normally after that.

"PDF edits were easy enough"
I was able to edit my PDF quickly, which was a relief. Nothing too complicated, thankfully—just got it done without much hassle

"Frustrating on Windows"
I tried using this on my Windows PC and it was annoying. Some features wouldn’t open properly, and I kept having to wait around for things to load or respond, only for it to act buggy anyway. After a while it just felt like more trouble than it was worth.
"Pretty easy to use overall"
I ended up using Cisdem for a fairly simple file conversion, nothing too complicated or technical, and overall it was straightforward to get through. I’m not someone who wants to spend a bunch of time digging through menus or watching tutorials just to convert a file, so I appreciated that the layout was clear enough and I could mostly figure out where everything was without much effort.
The actual conversion worked just fine for what I needed, and I didn’t run into any major issues or weird errors along the way. That said, there were a couple of buttons or options that I felt could have been a little more obvious, especially if someone was opening the program for the first time. It wasn’t confusing in a serious way, just one of those small things where the interface could feel a bit smoother.
Overall, I’d probably give it 4 stars. It’s simple, quick, and it did the job without creating extra hassle, which is really what I was looking for. It’s not absolutely perfect, but for basic file conversion, I had a good experience with it and would use it again if I needed something fast.

"I tried cisdem on a handful of..."
I tried cisdem on a handful of files and it worked fine overall :) Smaller files went through without much trouble, but the bigger ones definitely took longer than I expected. It’s not awful or anything, just not super speedy. Hopefully they can improve the processing speed a bit!

"Clean and easy to use, especially when I was drained"
I was feeling mentally drained when I went on the Cisdem site, so I really appreciated how simple everything was. The menus were easy to spot, and the pages didn’t feel cluttered or overwhelming. I could find where to download things and check the details without clicking around forever. Some parts do look a little plain, but that worked for me. It’s a clean, straightforward site that didn’t make me think too hard...
"I used Cisdem to convert a few..."
I used Cisdem to convert a few files, and the results were a bit disappointing. Some of the layout shifted around, and a few sections of text came out looking off after the export.
It technically did the job, but I ended up spending way too much time cleaning things up manually. For the price, I expected the output to be more polished, and a lot of those issues felt preventable...

"File support was kind of a letdown"
I bought this hoping it would help with a few older file formats, but it really didn’t handle them well. Some files opened all messed up, and others wouldn’t open at all. The basic stuff worked fine, but for the price, the lack of support for more formats felt ridiculous.
"I gave Cisdem a try, but the trial..."
I gave Cisdem a try, but the trial version got frustrating quickly. It barely let me use the main features, so I couldn’t really figure out if the software was actually useful or worth paying for.
Maybe the full version is better, I don’t know. But the trial made me feel like I was just hitting walls the whole time, and I got impatient with it. I wish they’d let people test a bit more before asking for money.

"I’ve been using it to clean..."
I’ve been using it to clean up duplicate files, and it does catch a lot of them (which is definitely helpful). That said, it also misses some duplicates here and there, so I still have to double-check things myself. Overall, it’s okay, just not something I’d rely on 100%.

"Honestly, too pricey for what it offers"
I gave cisdem a try, the price just feels a bit high for what you actually get. A few features I’d consider basic are locked behind paid plans, which, for me, made it hard to justify. For what I needed, there are cheaper tools out there, that do pretty much the same thing. It’s not a bad app, maybe, but the pricing just doesn’t really make sense to me.

"I used Cisdem to convert a whole..."
I used Cisdem to convert a whole batch of PDFs, and the layout stayed almost exactly how it was supposed to. No random missing text, no weird broken tables, which surprised me a bit. It saved me a ton of cleanup afterward. I feel like that’s what you’d want from a PDF converter, right?

"Still Waiting on Support"
I reached out to support expecting some kind of response, but I’m still sitting here waiting. No update, no follow-up, nothing. Like… make it make sense. I just needed help, and it feels like my message disappeared into a black hole.

"I tried cisdem.com mostly for the OCR feature..."
I tried cisdem.com mostly for the OCR feature. Had a bunch of scanned PDFs I needed to turn into usable text. the results were rough. Random words were wrong, and the tables came out all over the place.
Even the simpler pages. Still needed a lot of cleanup after exporting. Like, way more than I expected. At some point it felt quicker to just retype chunks myself, which was frustrating.
Maybe it does better with super clean scans. Mine weren’t perfect, sure. But they weren’t that bad either. For my files, it ended up being a waste of time, and I probably wouldn’t use it again.

"Got back most of my stuff"
It managed to find a bunch of my deleted photos, which was a relief. A few of the files were kind of messed up or didn’t open right, but I still got back most of the important things I needed.

"trusted source for my workflow"
As an assistant editor, my workflow depends on reliable tools. Cisdem has become a trusted resource. The website is wonderfully organized and offers great solutions, I can easily find and evaluate the utility tools for my editing needs. I recently used their PDFMaster to handle client scripts and release forms — it was fast, accurate, and preserved all the formatting.

"It works okay for the most part..."
It works okay for the most part, and I’ve been able to get things done with it, but it does feel like a few basic features just aren’t quite there yet. Compared to some other tools I’ve tried, it feels a little unfinished, just a little unfinished in places.

"Bad timing, but it installed fine"
The setup itself was easy, honestly. It just ended up taking longer than I expected, probably because I picked the worst possible time to do it. Once I got past that little hiccup, everything installed fine.
